Da Da On, from 2023, was played on BBC Radio 1 by Pete Tong and on Defected Radio, and has passed 247,000 public plays on Spotify, YouTube and SoundCloud (count of 9 Oct 2026). The album Transmutação, Portuguese-language rap and storytelling, is in the works.

Prince Andre is a Brazilian rapper and producer from Bahia, based in São Paulo, and the house artist at Puressência, a production house and label with its own studio. The album Transmutação is in the works.
In 2023 he was the voice on Da Da On by Ali Love & Prince Andre, released by Hot Creations on 10 February under catalogue number HOTC204, on 12" vinyl and digital: Portuguese rhymes over a hip house groove with samba-inspired percussion, in original and dub versions, recorded in Florianópolis and Bahia. The label calls it Brazilian hip house.
During the release campaign the track was played on BBC Radio 1, on Pete Tong’s show, and on Defected Radio, as well as KISS FM, m2o (Italy), SLAM FM (the Netherlands) and Polskie Radio (Poland). Groove Armada, Gorgon City, Riva Starr, Pirupa, Baum and Yousef all gave feedback on it.

Puressência’s creative studio, A.MOTION, makes films, 3D and brand systems, so each record ships with its own in-house imagery.

Da Da On came out on Hot Creations on 10 February 2023 and was on the radio the same day: Pete Tong played it on BBC Radio 1 and came back to it a week later. The Dub made Albertino’s Dance Revolution on m2o, and the original the Defected Radio Show of 3 March.
In the booth, the track made 37 Beatport charts by DJs and by the store itself, 4 of them editorial, and shows up in 40 tracklists on 1001Tracklists, 36 with the original and 4 with the Dub. Each show and chart is listed in this section with a link to the source.
In the specialist press, the UK’s Up Front Beats ran the track on 2 February, ahead of release, and Data Transmission, also in the UK, premiered it on the 10th.
More than three years after its release, Da Da On has passed 247,000 public plays on Spotify, YouTube and SoundCloud (count of 9 Oct 2026).
